We all know the diversity in European startups sucks — just 7% of European funding rounds went to all-women founding teams in the first nine months 2023 and only 1.4% of unicorns are founded by a team of ethnic minority founders.

We also know that funding underrepresented founders could unlock massive investment opportunities — in the trillions.

So why hasn't anything changed? And how can you be part of the change? The Inclusive Startup Playbook, our new podcast, in collaboration with Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab, dives into just that. Over the next two months, Sifted's Anisah Osman Britton and Steph Bailey interview founders, investors and operators about the best ways to build an inclusive, resilient and sustainable startup — from how to hire inclusively to how to build more inclusive products.
