AI robotics startup Dexory raises $165m round backed by Eurazeo and Lakestar

The London-based company will strengthen its commercial teams and expand across multiple international markets

AI startup Dexory has raised $165m Series C, as it looks to ramp up commercialisation of its autonomous robots and warehouse intelligence platform in the US.

Funding for robotics and autonomous systems builders has increased as advances in AI have ushered in new model and sensor capabilities.

Startups in the sector raised a record €1.9bn in 2024, according to Sifted data. Robotics companies have picked up €1.2bn so far this year, with autonomous vehicles scaleup Wayve reportedly in talks for a $2bn fundraise.

The round is made up of $100m in equity, led by Eurazeo with participation from LTS Growth and Endeavor Catalyst, alongside existing investors Atomico, Lakestar, Elaia, Latitude Ventures. Bootstrap Europe provided $65m in debt funding.

“This new round allows us to bring forward transformational capabilities that our customers are asking for,” said Andrei Danescu, CEO and cofounder in a statement.

Dexory will strengthen its commercial teams and expand across multiple international markets as well as serving new sectors.

The company last raised in an $80m Series B just over a year ago. Danescu told Sifted at the time advances in generative AI had changed the game for autonomous technology.

Since then Dexory has expanded across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region, and established its North American headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.

Its platform is used by logistics leaders such as GXO, Maersk and DHL, manufacturers including Stellantis and GE Appliances and by customers across pharmaceuticals, retail and eCommerce.

“Dexory’s extraordinary combination of robotic and software engineering strength bridges the constraints of the physical supply chain with the power of AI-optimised intelligence, harnessing operational data at scale and turning it into actionable insights,” said Raluca Ragab, partner at Eurazeo.

“We see a vast global market ahead, and Dexory is uniquely positioned to help the industry leap into the future."
