On the agenda

With a domestic market big enough to stay local but too small to become a global champion, how should French startups plan for their geographical expansion?

Should English-first be the policy from day one? And how should founders go about hiring a team in a new market?

Sifted’s France correspondent Daphné Leprince-Ringuet will be joined by guest speakers Hugo Weber, VP Corporate Affairs at Mirakl, and Pierre Vergnes, CFO at Doctolib, to discuss how two of France’s most established unicorns have approached — and still navigate — the challenges of internationalisation. An event intended to welcome and support early-stage founders, the breakfast will host around 25 attendees and provide coffee and a light breakfast. Free to attend.
