Revolut is exploring a push into the AI agent space, aiming to use the technology to automate everything from customer service to sales.

In its bid to become the go-to financial superapp, Revolut has pursued an ambitious product map with commitments to roll out a wide range of new products including private banking, crypto derivatives and rewards-based credit cards

Now, the UK’s leading fintech is pushing further into the AI space, according to two job listings on its website. Earlier this year, Revolut also established an AI department and has been hiring for a number of roles to build this out, according to a LinkedIn post and company insiders.

Founded in 2015 by Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko, Revolut is now Europe’s biggest neobank and currently has over 60m customers globally. At the tail end of last year, Revolut outlined its 2025 product map, which included an AI-powered financial assistant. And while it’s not clear when this will go live, according to the job listings Revolut is also seeking to build new products in the space.

The fintech is seeking to build several AI voice products “from the ground up” including AI-powered call centre agents, AI-driven outbound sales agents and voice assistants, according to one job listing posted by the company. Personal assistants, chatbots and copilots are also on the table, another job ad says

Asked about the plans, a company spokesperson told Sifted: “Revolut is committed to continual improvement of our product. That's why we're exploring new AI-driven features to innovate and create a more personalised, efficient experience for our customers.”

The product push suggests Revolut will enter the buzzy area of AI agents, tools that act autonomously to complete a wide range of tasks without human intervention.

So far this year, AI agent startups have raised more than €4bn in funding according to Sifted data. This includes financings for startups building AI agents specifically for financial services, such as AI agent debt collector Murphy and Gradient Labs, an AI customer service agent startup geared towards the financial services sector.
