Enterprise AI agent startup HappyRobot has raised $150m in a Series C round valuing the startup at $1.2bn. The round was led by Prysm Capital and Eurazeo.
Other backers include A16z, Base10 and Y Combinator, as well as strategic investors T.Capital, Orange and Endeavor Catalyst.
The round brings the total funding raised by European AI agent startups this year to more than €7.85bn, surpassing last year's full-year total of €6.2bn, according to Sifted data.
HappyRobot helps enterprises build, deploy and manage AI agents across complex workflows. It currently works with over 150 businesses, including DHL and Uber. It began by focusing on the logistics industry, and is now expanding into insurance, energy, telecommunications and airlines.
The company’s fresh funding comes just 11 months after it raised $44m, and will be used to help expand the platform’s AI capabilities and to build out its engineering, deployment and go-to-market teams.
HappyRobot was founded in 2022 in Madrid by CEO Pablo Palafox, COO Javi Palafox and CTO Luis Paarup. It now has offices across North America, Europe, LATAM and Australia.
“HappyRobot's thesis is that enterprise superintelligence, where an organization's collective intelligence compounds as agents and people learn from one another, requires far more than task-performing agents,” Palafox says.
