Sifted is the media platform reporting on the world of technology and startups in Europe, backed by the Financial Times. Two years after launching, we’ve become known for our high-quality journalism and fresh viewpoints, and we’re a must-read for many founders, investors and people working in startups across the continent.
We’ve grown from a standing start to over 600k monthly unique visitors, over 90k newsletter subscribers and a lively social media following, but there’s much more to be done to both grow and consolidate our readership — and ship new products.
Our team is expanding rapidly and we’re looking for talented people to join, and we intend to double the size of our engineering team by the end of the year. Our offices are based in London (although we are open to semi-remote applicants — ie. people who could travel in 2/3 days per week).
You’ll be responsible for the design and of a new suite of Sifted products, working with an exceptional team of developers, product people, and executive leadership. You’ll help to create the future of data and reporting on European startups, as we expand our scope beyond media and journalism to become the leading insights platform for the European technology industry.
This is a senior position, reporting to the CEO, and we’re looking for someone with the flexibility to straddle both day to day design delivery and strategic thinking.
