At Sifted, we’re taking a fresh look at Europe’s startup and tech world, and building a diverse readership and community of founders, investors, innovators, thinkers and makers. We want to become the essential, trusted and independent resource for European tech – and our early team members will play a big role in making that happen.

We’re backed by the Financial Times and based at its London HQ, but we work as a small, nimble, independent team. We value interpersonal skills as much as technical skills, and care deeply about supporting each member of our team’s personal growth and development.

The role

Working closely with the founders, you would take the lead on both our own marketing and that done in conjunction with our brand partner the Financial Times, joining our fast-growing team of journalists, engineers and designers helping us build a highly engaged startup community for Europe’s early-stage tech businesses and their partners.

The role will include:

As this is a new business, you will have significant say in all that we do in this area, including defining the tools that we use, and the processes that we implement.
